Sorrento is one of the most famous towns of the Gulf of Naples. Situated on a tufaceous terrace on the North Coast of the Peninsula of Sorrento.
In 1133 it was conquered by Norman People and after, it became part of the Kingdom of Naples. The coast at the present consists in the harbor zone of Marina Piccola and the Fisherman's harbor, zone of Marina Grande, rich in bathing establishment.
